when would b a good time to hunt hogs on fhl...

Is there any good time in the next few months to go hog hunting or should I wait???

Go every time you can is my stock answer. When it is hot they concentrate near water each day.

If you have a tag to fill, go there as often as possible before that tag expires.

True...go as often....but look for a cool change in the weather...when its hot...pigs head to cover earlier hitting water as they go...when the weather cools...they stay out alitle longer...it could be mins to an hour because they forage longer and farther....but that makes a difference in your favor...good luck

Well - the weather's changing right now, dropping 25 or so degrees at daytime temps, with a 20% chance of some rain tomorrow.

Hmmm....... maybe this weekend.

When it's hot and dry the pigs come out earlier in the evening for a cool drink. We've shot a couple hogs an hour before dark near the ponds. 13W and 15 were a couple of the areas.
