Where is Arrowslinger?

After a lengthy discussion with a fellow JHO member, I was urged to start an on line poll in an attempt to find out just where AS is this weekend.

First a little back ground: Several weeks ago, AS was invited to our property up north to do a little pig hunting (and even get a few cracks at coyotes) for the weekend. I was in Reno at a fishing tourney that weekend, but he had the keys to the gate and a 1980, 16 foot travel trailer

. All weekend I called him to get a report, but his cell phone went straight to voice mail every time I called. I assumed that he was just out of cell range, but on Sunday, I got a text message from him stating he was unable to get up to the property--instead, he had go to the "City" for the weekend for a little shopping with his girl friend

Last week, while I was at work, I had a neighbor call and tell me about several hog sightings. In addition, he reported that the coyotes were out in force! I passed this info on to AS who assured me that he, and a friend, were going up to the ranch this weekend!

At three PM today, I got a text from AS stating he was not at the property, but may try to make it up there tomorrow???

And now, I am left with this question: Where is Arrowslinger?

Anyone?

The testosterone found him. While he is under the spell, he has no control of what he's doing. It's biological. He'll get back to what he really loves as soon as he gets married.

Another good man shot down in his prime, can't say he wasn't warned, yet we still allow our fellow soldiers to be taken prisoner, balls put inside a jar on the pantry floor, and taken to Bed bath and Beyond.

Damn, he was a hardcore hunter, too bad he was taken down by the force.

Oh yeah, One Track you are the only person that does more hunting post marriage than pre marriage, the rest of us just think about what was.

He had some good hunts scheduled this year, too bad, now it's time to pick out flowers and shower curtains.

Death of a good bowhunter, damn shame.

Well, if all this talk is true, he will be a better hunter for it when he finally does get out and hunt. My experience is that married men make better hunters because they are much more daring. They are no longer afraid to die and, therefore, more willing to crawl through that thick brush and risk coming face to face with a big tusker. After all, that's nothing compared to having to wake up next to a big sow for the rest o' yer life....

Just kiddin' honey....sorta.

Oh, if only I'd listened...

Well. it's spring and love IS in the air.

I checked with my cousin Bimbledean in Mizzurah to see if she was the lucky gal. She claims no. I do gotta admit, them's some hams on that girl.
