Any suggestion where to buy the Olympus C-750 Utra Zoom. Looking for a good price and a reliable company. Open to suggestions. I posted below asking about the difference between the C-750 and the C-5050. I guess the major trade off between the two cameras is the 750 has a 10x zoom and the 5050 has a 3X zoom. Also the 5050 has 5MP's and the 750 has 4MP's. Question is do you give a little picture quality for a more versatile lens.

I just bought the 750 a few weeks ago and I really like it. It's a sweet little camera.

I bought mine at buydigitaldirect.com for $489 shipped. I just ordered one last week for my brother from buydig.com and he only had to pay $450 shipped! I just went back to buydig.com's website and I see they've gone back up on the price. Be very very warry of these no name electronics websites selling the cameras cheap. About 90% of them are crooks. Check out the sites at www.resellerratings.com first. Good luck!

Guys all this talk about the c750 has me wanting one and the wife has given the OK to get us a nice digital. Broadwayphoto c750 from broadwayphoto has them for $434.00 Now here is my question. I am a vendor of digital cameras and this price is well below my wholesalers cost and he says they are a customer of theirs and can't figure out how they can be selling this camera this cheap unless it is a grey market camera. Anyone have any input on this company? I called them yesterday and questioned them a little and got a lot of indirect answers and when i tried to pin the salesman down he turned into a butt.

Also how does the c-750 do on indoor photos. I have a friend that just bought (an now I can't remember the model) 2mg Olympus with the 10x optical zoom and he says the indoor pics and not nearly as good as what he was getting with his d380.

Thanks for any input,

I've had a 740 for a couple months now and they take great indoor pics....fantastic closeups....and great for all around photos.

I took some closeups of a Praying Mantis that I wanted to have 8x10's so took them to one hour....the guy that processed them said that they were the best digital pictures he has ever processed....there is a photo show in November and he wants me to display them.

Can't even imagine what the extra meg of a 750 would do.

PS....I got mine a circut city..they have a good warranty and service..besides I was never one to wait for something if I could just got and get it.
