I have hunted everything but hogs. I have been looking all over for public land areas to hunt. I have heard of and read about FHL but it takes a bit for your permit. I would like to go out this weekend. Any places that anyone know of? Anywhere in central California and Northern California

Thank you. I was just looking for an area to start I will do the work to find them. Not scared to put the boots on the ground and do the hiking. What about in Northern California I have heard of them in red bluff area and on the coast.

You can go to FHL anytime. It cost an additional 20 buck for on site processing. note: no cash, check or cards. get a money order from usps for 45 instead of 25. for a two day pig only pass. If you pre-check in on friday you can get into your TA 2 hours early.
