Where is a good place to sell high grade, great color and massive size collecter whitetail sheds? I have been collecting Big sheds for many years and my collection is getting to big to keep in my home my wife says that anyway. Instead of storeing beautiful sheds out of sight in some box I have desided to sell off a few sheds from 65" to 80" in size and just keep and buy the over 80" class sheds to make my collection smaller. I have been watching ebay and prices are good on average but I have had two bad deals on ebay the last year alone and am getting where I don't like selling or buying on there much. Is there anywhere else a forum or site people buy/sell High grade collector sheds?

cant sell them myself, just aint worth all the walking to sell them and they mean to much to me. i had a foriegn exchanged student offer to give me a hundred dollars for one of my winter kills and i said no way. prolly a dumb thing to do but it means to much to me.

go to the taxidermists if they dont want to buy them they could point u in the right direction but they usualy want them.

As I sit here and read your post I think one of two things. Either his wife is tired of seeing a bunch of useless bones lying around that just embarass her when company comes over...... Or you have lost your passion for finding the shed. I know for sure it is not the second one. I know how much money a set of awsome brown sheds will bring but I will never bring myself to do it (for anyone), no matter how bad I need money. Finding sheds is a disease that no one other than you will ever understand. KEEP EM' ALL

I agree with FOUND ONE, try to keep them. I thought that I wouldn't feel bad about selling off some junk antlers a couple years ago. (Broken, chalky, chewed on, and dinks.) Now I miss them....
I've always been looking for a nice shed with a single droptine on it, If you do part with one. Seeing as how I can't find one myself...
And, if you are really serious about selling them, where are you from? I may be able to hook you up with a guy here in town(Salina, KS) that NEEDS nice antlers to make his antler furniture and lamps and other stuff.

I'll look for his card and send you some info. I know he goes to Wyoming every year to buy elk sheds to make chairs with, so he isn't just an "antlr colectr" like I am..

No, I didn't pick up any of the sheds I am selling as I would never sell any of the ones I have found around my farm and hunting lease. These Are ultra high grade fresh "huge" collector sheds I have bought and traded for and are perfect condition no flaws, chews, bleaching. They look like they just fell off the bucks head 10 minutes ago and most have wax ring still. These would not be a make furniture type anlters. All sheds have h1 mass at over 5 4/8 inch and most over 25" main beam. All weight over 2lbs+ per shed and score over 70" per shed so they are real big deer anlters. Your talking 160" to 180" inch deer when walking the woods. My wife is tried of seeing them pile up and to be honest I have way to many to display which is why I collect them. They are no good in a box somewhere with no one to enjoy them. Imay have to do the ebay thing I guess I hate that.

I think I have 90+% of them sold to another serious collector that emailed me from this post. He is about a 4 hr drive away and is going to meet me this weekend halfway. I will start posting some pics after this weekend of what he does not take if anyone else is interested. Thanks!

golden boy...they are called "Antler Creations" I don't want to give out too much info on them, but give Danny a call 785-825-0952. I'm sure the two of you can arrange for him to email you pictures of what you are interested in.
