I have been looking at digital camera's in the $250-$300 price range. Interested in either the Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixel model dsc-p72 or Canon Powershot A-70 3.2 megapexal also. Which one do you like best ?

I've got a Nikon Coolpix 2100 & it shoots pretty good for a 2megapixel cam. It uses up the regular AA batteries pretty quick but does good with the lithium camera battery. We got ours at comp USA for $200 if I remember correctly

Anybody have a Canon A-70 ? Do you like it & would it be best to get the optional rechargable batteries with it ?

About getting rechargeable batteries: I think it's worth it. Buying new batteries can really add up over time. Rechargeable one don't do quite as well in cold weather, so I use Lithium ones in winter, rechargeable ones in warmer weather.
Can't answer on the Canon A70, but it has good specs, and Canon is sure making some good cameras.
