Nice! That broken chunk looks like it had something funky going on....hopefully you'll find the rest of the antler and be able to put the puzzle together.

Went out again this morning for a little walk. I've been walking the outskirts away from the bedding and upwind and I've had a little luck. Although I would have rather picked up the sheds from the dead buck. He would've been a pig next year. At 12 for the year now

Congrats on the 3 finds for that one day!!

Ever since I started looking for sheds I counted anything not attached to the skull. It may not have been shed, but if it was knocked off naturally or it least by the deer it was good for me.
That buck find is bittersweet, sad to see him go like that but at least you found him and not the rodents. He's a beast!!

Great find, too bad he didn't get another year! Would have been a pig next year. Cool that you have him in your hands though. He would make a cool european mount for your house.

Today was a long but fruitful day. I walked 9 hours total and came up with 4. The match made it all worth it.

Nice set! It's sweet when they lay close enough to get them both in the same picture frame. Congrats

It's Ironic how we can walk so many miles and find nothing and then just drive home and come across something like this. This antler was about two hundred yards out in a wheat field that was on my way home from where I walked for three hours and found nothing. It is by far my biggest shed scoring 84 7/8! I hope that I can locate the other side but I have to get ahold of the landowner and get permission.

The shed gods are smiling on me this year. Here it is sorry no as it laid pics forgot my camera and no way I could leave it laying. It scores 82" so that puts this buck in the 185 range. I have looked for sheds like a religion for seven years now and have finally wrapped my hands around something truely amazing. I just lay on the couch and hold them all the time. I also picked up the five point side that any other day I would be beside myself but today it was shadowed by bigger things.

Another awesome day for my season. I came across a big oldie and then five minutes later my brother found the other side. Then my brother made the comment that I wonder what he looks like this year. After he said that he took another trail and headed off. When we met I said this is what he looks like this year because just after he left I found this years side by side. It was an awesome day and found one more after that. The fresh set gross scores 163 with 6+ inch mass measurements at the bases. I LOVE THIS SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
