Wow Dave, It is amazing to see how fast you have improved. Can you put your finger on the biggest thing that you started doing differently (I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask)?

If you work on your compositions a little, you will have some "contest worthy" images (I mean contest were other semi pro's enter). Try moving your subjects out of the center of the frame when you shoot by using the rule of thirds. I'm just being very "nitpicky" because I like the pictures you have been posting lately.

Thanks Gil, Hideandwatch and Clutch.

Clutch - where you been lately? I've been missing all your posts. Thanks for the compliments.
My biggest thing I've done is to mainly shoot shutter priority, and try to keep my ISO under 400. I've found that with my camera - it gets real noisy if I put it much over that. Thanks again for all your help as I've been practicing and learning.
Come fall time I hope to be buying the Nikon 300 2.8 vr lens. Have to wait n see how the bank account looks then.

Dave, I have been incredibly busy lately... too busy to take any pics.

Someone saw some pictures that I posted on a Russian forum I belong too, and offered to show me around (babysit me) their city in exchange for taking some pictures for them. I will be visiting a large military city in Russia next month that has a lot of museums related to Russian aircraft... I should have plenty of pictures of MIGS and etc. to post when I get back.
