My dad is a department of defense employee but works on a different base. Does he still have privileges to hunt on vandenberg? I have done a couple of google searches with no luck, if some one could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

as best I know: active and retired military. I've even heard that only certain DOD folks employed on-base VAFB may hunt, but the DFG person can answer that best. I'm 99.9% certain that non-VAFB DOD folks cannot hunt on VAFB.

Cheers,

Carl

They can be signed on as a guest now though by an active duty or retired military. It's for only 3 days at a time and $5 per day. They must be accompanied by the sponsor at all times too.
