Some of the guys I hunt with are real hogs, however, I carry a .44 mag Ruger Super Redhawk when pig hunting. Haven't used it on a hog yet though. I carry it for more of a back up or coup de grâce then the primary hunting weapon. If I happened to get one real close though I might put the rifle down and take it with the Redhawk.

I have a Competitor (single shot like a TC) chambered in 45/70 that I have not yet shot a hog with. Does that count?

It's been awhile since I shot a hog with a pistol, but I have taken two with my Ruger Redhawk 7 1/2 inch in .44 Mag. Used my 300 grn CastCores..Great Round!

My just-in-case weapon - Ruger GP-100, stainless, .357 mag, 4" barrel, iron sights, Hogue grips. I use to load Hornady 180 grain XTP bullets ($18.00 per 100) in front of Winchester 296 powder but now I'm stuck with non-lead Barnes 140 grain XPB bullets ($16.29 for 20, ouch!). I haven't shot anything with the Barnes bullets yet. They're fast but very light IMHO and very expensive.
