Thanks for the intel XD. I was actually planning on hitting that area as the winds are supposed to be N - NE at 6 mph, I figure I can start in 10 and work my way up into 7 to where we scored last time.

I will probably be heading up saturday morning but don't think the carpool would work where I'm at. Anyone know if your allowed to walk into 10 from Jolon road if sulphur springs is still closed? Can you walk in along sulphur springs from the cantonment? Though I might hit another TA considering how many views this thread has gotten

It depends on who you talk to, but I was told that it was Okay to park as long as you don't block the gate.

They used to not ticket you for that but the LEs said no more parking on Jolon a few years back. They want you in the parking spots. I asked this in my elk hunt orientation last Nov on my elk hunt.

Yes you can walk into Sulphor Springs fron cantonment.

We parked on Milpitas last trip out there and didn't have an issue. It was however raining pretty hard that day so maybe they weren't out in force? We also saw about 3 other trucks parked on the side of the road on our egress out.

There is a rumor that they move the registration inside the base.. inside the guard building 191 (not confirm)

Yes you can walk into Sulphor Springs fron cantonment.

So looks like you could park at the 13E parking spot across the road, that would work.

Also, they did move registration into the cantonment area:

8. Please Note: The Registration Center is now on cantonment in building 191. To find bldg. 191, go through gaurd check, proceed straight to stop sign which will be Infantry Rd. Proceed straight through stop sign; Building 191 will be in second building on the left.

I didn't ask about Milpitas, I asked about Jolon Rd and was told no. Ask the LEs when you come in the gate or the FHL warden what the current policy is.
