Can't wait, only one more week and after talking to Kerry there are a lot of people coming up to Tejon next weekend. Hopefully it's mostly dried out by then, the mud up there is like grease. So who's going? Last PMH had 43 out of 45 hunters get lucky so it looks like the numbers aren't following the declining population trend that the rest of the state is experiencing. :hog chewing:

Love the rain. Bring it on!! It keeps the women at home. Pigs love it too, I'm not bringing home my tag. See you there fishking. I can't be missed, we have a a spool with 400 yards of rope hanging off the trailer hitch and a big sticker in the back window that says "Hog Hunter".

Would love to hear from the guys who went out this past weekend (5th - 7th). I'm going to be there this coming weekend (12th -14th) with a group of 10 guys. We've all been watching the weather closely hoping for a few clear days to dry up the roads. Any information, tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

we got skunked!!! The roads kept us driving the main roads after Sat. morning. Didn't even see a hog. We forgot our tire chains and it was impossible to get around in the Tejon grease. We almost spent the night Fri. night south of the lake cause we couldn't move in the stuff, we got back to camp very late. So we only hunted a little. I hear 13 hogs were checked in for about 30 hunters. The weather was unbelievable, the wind almost blew my tent away with me in it! :skeered:
