Why no American Elk in the Sierras?

I know a lot of you have be paying attention to the affair of you Crappy Senetors and their drive to ride Santa Rosa Island of the Rosey and the Muleys, but just imagin taking a few hundered head of the Rosey and peppering them over the mentinoed areas to get the Elk ideas started. Or even better taking some of the big Muley Kaibab bucks and dropping them in the wintering grounds of the Calif deer heards and see if we could get there genes passed on instead of just killing them off. One of the things mentioned in some report was the deer won't survive the move, yata.. yata... stuff. If those bucks could just breed with a few dosen before they fall to preditors or stress then I could kill a 180 class buck in D14 or some of you other A,B, D zoners would have trophy units and then there wouldn't be a mad rush for the X9a's G3, X8, X12, or G39 type tags. Isn't this a good idea or what. We could have trophy units all over the state.

Someone with clout like SPECK get this idea moving.....
