I was charged ones by a boar which i stick my arrow in. Took me sometime to nock another arrow. Was lucky to have more adrenaline in my veins than blood so i was not afraid, just remembered stepping aside and letting him pass. While he was stopping and turning around to see me, the arrow was already in and i let him have another one.
a couple of minutes later the recognition came in, than i understood what just happened and how lucky i was... My hunting buddy who saw everything told me that in his imagination he already was seeing how he carries my bloody corpse out of the area and explaining to my wife what happened
