If the Krauts can't keep those hogs under control, we can always send Hatchet. That'll fix 'em!

The victim was age 72, so us Social Security guys should take note. Maybe we should have a signup thread for the old bucks. That way we could buddy up before a hunt. Last weekend I was scouting TA-29 during the afternoon. I cut across the bottom land from clay backs over to the gravel pit. It was real thick and over my head. I had to push my way through, plus some of it was a tangled mess. I was thinking, what if my heart gave out, or a hog took a bite out of my leg? No cell phone service, either.

I was stationed in Germany for 3 years and many of times while bivoucing in the field, hogs would come into the GP Medium tent at night because the soldiers would leave there MRE's open on the ground or have some PX food in there with them, those hogs could clear a platoon out of the tent in no time... Even had one hog tree a soldier while he was on guard at the the front gate, the soldier wouldn't come back down till daylight.............

My Verizon cell works in 29 matter fact it work all over FHL. My wife drop me off the back side of 13E and after hiking to the fron side near argyle rd I called her she came and picked me up. Signal was clear. I saw signs but no piggy.

Pat,

Thanks, I have been using T-Mobile, so I will switch over to Verison. If you don't want to disturb the hogs in the swampy area on the back side, there is a green street sign at one of the gates along Jolon road, (Milpitas I I) Easy to find in the dark.
