I wish i would have taken a picture of LD hunting....camo shorts, dark blue t-shirt, and white socks. It was ugly, but deadly.
<

Of the 20+ hogs, there was not a single one that spotted us..even while walking in the open past 6 hogs at under 100 yards.

Thank to chopper for another great hunt & the help in the skinnin' shed...we skinned and cleaned up both hogs in under 45 minutes.

They never would have seen those hogs If I hadn't scared them off the hill I was hunting.
I drew down on a big OREO colored Boar but when he turned broadside for me to shoot I saw a sign on his ass that read property of speckmisser do not shoot. Since all I had was a fifty yard ass shot I passed, and now I'm pissed cuz I never got another opportunity all weekend. I shouda shot speckmissers hog in the ass and all would be well in the world today. However.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda, if's, ands, N , Buts. Candies and Nuts everyone have a nice christmas don't get the job done do they.
Still my son shot one and we spent hours trailing through tunnels only to run out of trail. Still can't spend a weekend better than a wild Hog Adventure. My thanks to everyone.
I really shoulda shot that hog he had huge hams to must weigh 250+ big old arghhhhhhhh! why torture myself.
SPECKMISSER GO KILL THAT DANG HOG WOULD YA!

Chopper thank you for allowing AS and myself up to the ranch this weekend! Nothing like having a little fun to make life's problems go away(at least for the weekend)!

Sunday morning AS woke me up in the cabin and I kind of wanted to sleep-in but then realized not everyone get's the chance to hunt such an awesome ranch and I'd tag along with him! At 1st light we had glassed a couple hogs from a great distance and decided it was go time! When we got down into position, I've never seen so many pigs in one area in my life, it's what all pig hunters dream of and we were right in the middle of them. It kinda reminded me of a large buffalo herd out on the great plains, there was pigs as far as you could see! AS said there was 20+ hogs, I didn't even bother counting because it didn't matter, it was what I imagened the perfect hunt to be! AS wanted me to take the first shot but I thought why don't we both shoot, we both ran 3/4's of a mile to get at these pigs and it would only be fare! We thought the pigs would bust out of the area as soon as we let the 1st pig have it! But they didn't even noticed. When we came up to the 2nd pig we decided what the hell let's both shoot again! We had plenty of opportunity to each take 2 pigs but there was no need for all the meat and 2 would be fine for the both of us! It was a great hunt and I'll never forget it! Thanks again AS, your a true friend!

It was also nice to hang out with all the guys and to meet a couple new ones!

If you really gotta know, it's the same place where RichW shot 2 in 20 minutes last October.

I thought that area looked familiar. Thanks, Chopper. All Richw saw there earlier this month was some nice deer.

Thanks again guys.

Ed, i've hunted choppers the past two Junes and have been extremely impressed w/ the number of hogs we've seen. The early part of the year is very tough because feed is abundant, this time we concentrated on water, they were stacked up in there like cord wood.

i'm ready to go back.

Thanks, bro! You have no idea what it took to hang that damned sign!

Me and Oreo... we got a date. Sooner or later, but it's gotta happen.
