I am leaving OC at 11:00 and baring any major traffic and/or mechanical/collision situation I will be at the gate at 6:00. Chopper said to ring his cell from King City so I will do that when I get into town. Bubba, should I call you from King City to give you my ETA?

Is there a bow target set-up there? I was thinking of throwing the deer dummy in the car to shoot at during down time.

I am READY!!! You guys gonna throw this newbie a bone on how to hunt these things?

I'll be bringing my deer target and block target. There are a couple spots to set them up just outside the cabin so bring it along, the more the merrier

No worries on the advice, there will be lots of strategy planning the first night over brews and crown

I wish that were me, I have to put in 8 hours tomorrow before hitting the road. Tonight will be be groceries and packing the truck for tomorrow. My wife asked me last night, "aren't you done packing, you have been doing it for 2 weeks". Guilty as charged. Just puttering with stuff though. The prep is half the fun for me.

Westy and me won't be up until Friday morning. Chopper is that okay to meet at the gate early Friday morning? If not let me know what time works best, we could make it up there late Thursday but it would be around 11pm.

What food is left that we need?

Dont forget to take some mediactive preventative measures for poison oak.

I was clothed hilt to hilly and the oils wore through /permeated my clothes and I got it bigtime again.

It is not even bloomed much currently.

I picked up potatoes, milk, bacon, butter, eggs, sauasges for all. We may need some corn, or anything else that somewhat resembles vegitables or greens, maybe a saled. Dunno, I'm sure we will do just fine either way.

Just got back from turkey hunting and chopper left me a voice mail
not sure of the details but there are 2 hogs hanging in the cooler, will have more this evening

we can be sure one is assshoters

got an update, just talked to AS he said
ZIMM got a 60 lb boar
ORSO got a 165lb sow dressed that should put it right about 210-220-lb sow
they are seeing pigs every where there should be more!!

they still have 2 1/2 days to go
