Wild hogs between Madera & Firebaugh?

There are pigs out in the county areas. I was driving out there in the Madera county flat land area last year and saw about 20-30 wild pigs in the early morning about 200 yards off the freeway. Speck said something about riverbanks and canals and by this area I'd say that was exactly the case. Unfortunately it wasn't huntable. Or should I say I haven't figured out a legal way yet but I'm still working on it. Transient pigs are being seen all over now.

A tad off topic but not completely. I don't know if any of you guys are familiar with Westlake Farms off of the 41 in between Lemoore and Kettleman City. Just this last year they shot a bear on their ground which is on the valley floor. Fish and game came out and missed a couple times with the tranquilizer gun before they told the farmer to take it out with a rifle.[/b]

jst last week a guy hit a pig and they took it to the dump and weighed it at 500 pounds. luckfully the guy hadd a big push bumper and he was in a big truck but still tore up the bumber of the truck and ripped the push bumper off
