Just wanted to say thanks. I stumbled across this post last year and have been hunting with George twice since then. The price of a guided hunt with dogs have understandably gone up but he's still the most affordable guide in all of california. Hes a really nice guy and runs a quality operation. We had so much fun the first time that I brought my wife for round 2 and she got her first pig.
Sorry to revive a zombie thread but I figured it was worth a mention that George is still up and running.

Agree, George is a great guide and person. I’ve been hunting with him for a very long time. I have a group trip on Nov 7 with him. Funnest hunt for me.

When did you go with George last? Recently? How’s the population looking? I always enjoy the group hunt I do with him.

I went last April and we had our pig before 10 am. One of the dogs had split off and was following more but we were done for the day because we could only fit one in our cooler.
I brought my wife a month later and we were on them within an hour.
We're heading back November 15th

Nice! Great looking hogs. Our group will be there Nov 7-9, no dogs though. All spot and stalk hunts.
