for all those interested, DO IT!!! the place rocks! we hunted the last weekend of the season, and the pigs were wise. i now know where they hang, and would start there if i go.

sadly, i am getting slammed with the economy, and i need to spend my hunting money wisely. i will know by the 3rd week of august. thanks mel.

Put me on the list. One question: After deposits have been received is the balance due on the date of the hunt or before? Also, I have a lifelong friend who is not a JHO member (yet) but a safe, experienced and ethical hunter and is also interested in the hunt. One final question: Are non-hunters (my father) allowed and if so at what price?

Balance will need to be paid once we reach the ranch on the date of the hunt. Friends are welcome, the faster we fill this hunt the better. As far as non-hunters, we had one last trip and George wanted $100 for him. I wasn't aware of this charge until we showed up at the ranch, so I don't know if George still charged him or not. I can ask and confirm with you later.

This really should be a great hunt. Last trip he brought his dogs out on the last day, he said he would do the same on this trip.

You can take a second pig, I'm not sure what the cost will be. I can ask George the next time I speak with him.

Since the list if filling up kind of slow, If you have friends that want to jump in, go for it.

where do we stay??? tents??? or??? can we bring kids even if they don't hunt?? what provisions are needed?? any more info on what's needed would be appreciated---I was kind of planning my x9a hunt for that weekend, but maybe I'll move it around--I'll have to weigh that one and get back to you soon if I want to do this pig hunt---sounds like a great time---chris
