Great timing and great weekend for all u, super congrats to u all.
And all those people who signed up for your hunt Mel and backed out, oh well i guess they really missed out on a non stop action packed weekend of qild pig hunting! .He, he. I have put hunts together too before and it is stressful when people sign up and back out when u have a commitment to fill with your outfitter and certian number of spots to fill and its getting down to the wire for your hunt. People with legit excuses ok, but then there are people who just jerk your chain and waste your time when they sign up.
I am so happy for you guys and Mel hope someday to hunt with u again my friend on a Wild Pig inc. Hunt at the ranch, i had a great time the last time i went. Tell George i said hi!......tra

I'm seeing a pattern. You go 1,2 on pigs at WU, then you go 1,2, 3, on X3b bucks and now 1, 2, 3, less than week apart on pigs. Guess that hand is ok

Jerry, when it works, it works. Funny though they were less then a week apart, set up was perfect on both occasions.

Thanks again for setting up this hunt. We had a good group of guys on this hunt. You can't beat 100% success. Already looking forward to next years hunt.

No problem, glad you got your hog. Next year things may change a little bit, I think George will be going to boars only, no sows. He has a good population now, but he wants it better so may change things up a little. We will see then what the interests will be on this hunt.

Wow that was a good weekend. I'm glad I stayed the night to stick it out with Juan. We got his pig on the backside of the hill behind Buckeye pond. Talk about a good hunt. The terrain there makes you work for everything you want but it does pay off.

Awesome hunt! I was part of the 1-2-3-shoot group and got my first pig/first kill 15 minutes into the hunt. That's how its supposed to go every day hunting, right???? I might be spoiled for life considering this is only my second hunt.

In all seriousness, Thanks for all the hard work setting this up and taking me out Mel and it was great meeting all of you that were up there.

Yeah thanks Mel for putting this hunt together and for staying and hunting with me sat night .And Adam for leaving his BBQ for us to cook the deer steaks Mel left and damn those things where good . I had a great time and thank you fugaloo for doing some more hunting with me bro we were rock paper scissoring at every fork in the road fugaloo was using hand sings I never seen before. And want to throw a shot out to RED BULL. That place is a great place and love this hunt and everywhere u go there is a lot of sign for some reason i always end up shooting my hogs right at the last hour of the hunt.i shot a small boar GOOD TIMES

I think we all took em with rifles. Mine was with a .308. Hornady Superformance 150 grain SST.

KTKT70, beleive me its not an easy slam bam thank u mam hunt thats for sure , trying finding piggies on 22,000 acres. i have done the group hunt there with Mel and as far as bowhunting the ranch very physical and challanging for sure, the terrain is more better suited for gunners which isnt always a slam dunk either. its a great ranch to hunt for sure and Mel puts together a great group hunt each year and G. Mavarkis does a great job assiting with the group hunts on the ranch. they had a great successful weekend for sure at 100% 6 out of 6 thats awesome! butt beleive me its no slam dunk thats for sure, the only way to find out is sign up for the next one Mel puts together. if i remember they gave us tracking collars and walkies in case anyone got lost on those 22,000 acers, thats a lot of land to cover looking for pigs if u dont know where they are......tra

sorry.. didnt mean to say it was a cake walk.. just that if i was on the trip. i would have more fun as the guy that got the last hog. I would b bummed out if my hunt was over 15mins after it started. Reminds me of a football game i missed. i had 4-h cow stuff to do. When i got back to school everyone said i misse the best game. we won 55-3 or sumthing crazy. Everyone got to play. i said cool.. glad i missed it. I like to play hard and win the game in the end. not fun for me to have the game on my plate from the start. lol i was a starter anyways.. so i would have got pulled to let the little guys play.

agian nice job and good hunt. in the end u got meat. thats what i like. ig-laughing:

Its all good, i dont like a cake walk hunt either, thats why i am a starving bowhunter now instead of a fat and happy successful gunner like i used to be. Bowhunting is always challenging and exciting no matter what u hunt.

Not a slam dunk at all, its a very hard hunt sometimes. I have hunted this place so much, and hunted my butt off, I'll take an easy one every once in a while
