Ok guys, not looking too good. I have emailed or txted everyone on this list to see if they are good with paying $450 for the hunt now that we have only 6 guys, 5 confirmed. I have heard back from juantg and Ruger_mac, and they are ok with it. If I don't hear back from everyone by Sunday, I will get in touch with George and let him know where we are at and see what he wants to do.

No, it's just better when he first opens up in October We tried 2 and it didn't go over very good.

Why does he only open in October? I thought hog season was year round.

He hunts October 1st - May or june, he's contracted that way through the land owner plus he doesn't like hunting during the summer months. That's why its so good for our hunt, it hadn't been hunted several months.

Ok guys, hunt is on at $450 ea. Since we don't have 10 to get the ranch to ourselves, George may book a couple others, not sure. I will be sending the deposits out tomorrow. More details to follow.

Well it getting close guys. It's time for us to start hitting the gym to get in shape to walk up all those HILL'S that George has. Go get on a treadmill and put it on the a steep incline and just keep going.

So true! I'll be deer hunting in X3B the week before, get back on 10/10 repack and head to lake Sonoma for some pork.

is there additional transportation besides yourself and George? if you can only take 3, that leaves at least 6+ hunters for George. That is a lot of hunters for one vehicle. Getting to and picking up will be a pain, especially if all hunters are to be on grounds before sunrise and not be picked up before sunset.

George has other helpers when we have the group hunts. There's plenty of other transportation, it's never been a problem.

George has a couple side-by-sides and at least two other helpers.

last time i went..i never got a seat..i always had to sit in the back of a side by side..sucks. not that safe either. one time i scored the milk crate.

George bought a 6 seater last year, so those milk crate days are no more.
