I put in for the time off and was approved so I am all set.

I'm getting exited to get back up there.

Has anyone made definite plans to hunt the lake in the morning?

That Saturday is the last day of the season at the lake.

The remaining balance on this hunt is due upon arrival. I'm sure after we sign the paperwork, then we would be paying the balance.

hey Muddy_udders i might join you for that fri. morning at L.S., i have that thursday to monday off for the easter weekend hunt, i would have to hit the road super early for that morning to hunt at the lake.

i am already going through my stuff for the hunt now, before you know it, it will be showig-laughing::archer green:time!...................tra

i am calling in sick tuesday or thursday for another lake sonoma run, next week.

i am probably good for an early lake sonoma hunt that friday. i am taking the entire day off. i'll keep you posted.

The lake is closed for hunting on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Sancho, My dad lives in Concord I will be picking him up Friday Morning. We may ge able to work something out. Were towing a jeep so its going to be a 60mph drive up.

heck, just know that a jeep is being towed up is comforting. driving about on the ranch is what worries me. my wife would kill me if i mess up her car...heheh.

Here's my plan for the hunt, don't know if George will go for it or not. I like hunting an area called Buckeye Lake, it's where all but 2 of my hogs have been killed. I know Ken will be there helping out George, don't know if George will have anyone else helping. I planned on taking 2-3 guys with me to this area, while George and Ken took out the rest. So if someone doesn't have a 4x4 i'm sure transportation around the ranch isn't going to be a problem.

I would bring it. I really don't know how George feels about camp fires, I know Ken allowed them but don't know about George. I called him yesterday and left a message, when he calls back I'll ask him about the camp fires.

Sancho, leave the canned ravioli's at home, i will bring one of my signiture homade pasta dishes > shrimp and sausage with a rotini pasta in a marinara sauce with fresh vegies like onion, bell peppers, mushrooms and fresh basil! and if you want i will throw in some garlic bread too, YUM, YUM!...............tra

I just spoke to George. I asked him about the camp fires, he has no problem with fires. He said if we wanted, he could have the guy who cuts wood on the property drop off a load of wood at the camp site for the weekend. He said he thinks he charges like $50 a truck load, I told him to go a head and do it and we can all split the cost of the wood, if that's ok with everyone. If not, I'll pay it.
