Tossing this out, since I didn't get my hog on our group hunt, I was thinking of doing a day hunt. But... if we can get the 10 people we can do a second group hunt. Looking at October 29th and 30th before he starts the dog hunts. just seeing the interest.

How much and where is the hunt?

$450 for 2 days, spot and stalk for boars only. Shoot a sow and it's $100 penalty. 22,000 acres that borders lake Sonoma. This is west of healdsburg, north of Santa Rosa.

Oct 29-30 covers Saturday-sunday. Would you need to get in by Friday night or would the group meet on Saturday morning?

Any chance George would be able to meet us at the entrance first thing Saturday morning, i.e., on his way in? We'd be 2 people. Very interested, but not possible to takeoff from work and get there by a decent hour of the day.

Looks like you shot him in the face. Nice boar! how was the pig movement in the Rain.

I think a little slow, was raining pretty good. Shot him just under the left eye, bullet lodged in the hide on right shoulder.
