Any body considering this hunt would be missing out if they didn't go. George is running a classy operation out there. The ranch is huge, and full of wildlife, full of pigs. The setup is perfect. Just seeing the other JHO stickers on the trucks was really cool too. If you consider how much time and money goes into a season of hunting, this is a true value. I scored after about 6 hours of being in field. If I didn't already have to hide the fact that I paid for this last one to my wife I would do it again. Well, that and between the deer I got and this last hog there is no more room in the freezer.

I'll be showing up midday on Saturday, coming from American Canyon, where I'm doing a presentation at an educational conference. I finish at 9:30am, so I should be very close to Healdsburg by 11 or 12. Where do I go from there?:thumbs up2:

Take dry creek rd. From healdsburg about 12 miles, once you go over a small bridge visitors center will be on your right. I will email you georges # so you can call him before and set a meeting time.

Been watching the weather for this hunt, not looking real promising but I don't hold too much on weather reports this far out. I made reservations at a hotel in Cloverdale just in case.

Shows 30% chance of rain on Friday, can't see what Sat and Sun look like. I have a crappy tent, so Super 8 may be my home for the weekend.

Anyone have a better weather report the weather.com?

I will have a trailer by next years trip. I may just buy a new tent instead of throwing the money away on a hotel.
