I took a Wildebeest in Zimbabwe in October '06. After I got the skull home, I shipped it to Scott at High Desert Skull Works for bronzing. I think it turned out great.

Thats a great way to show of the skull and use the cape for a rug. Blue Wildebeest make the best looking rugs!

That might be the coolest euro mount I have ever seen. Scott, I might have a bunch of work for you after this July!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Chopper, I'm glad you're happy with it. You're lucky you got it back......I kinda took a liking to it. I've got a bison for myself that I'm thinking of doing the same finish on if I ever get time.

Kirk, I'll do the same finish on you're hog and I found a CBH measurer about a mile from my house so I'll get it measured first. Did you get my email last week about the pack?

Awesome !

Very nice !

I like it better than some of the antlered racks I have seen bronzed (and I like those very much!).

Something about the dark horns and the bronze makes it really unique and stand out.

That's interesting, I have never seen a bronze skull before. Is this common or something you thought up? Do you have any pictures or a link of other animals that have been bronzed?
Is this a technique that for the most part limited to African game?

Looks elegant.
