I'm bored! I was going to hit one of the northern areas this weekend, but with the recent rains, there may still be a bit of snow there. So, I thought maybe Cache Creek. Looking at the DFG site, it says open to hunting during the "open season". My understanding was that the open season ended Jan 31st. But it is still turkey season, and pig has no season.
It is too late to check with DFG. I asked them today about the area I planned on originally (Crocker Meadows), and while I was told yes, it certainly sounded like a guess to me. Does anyone have an interpretation, or real-life experience on this issue?
Also, assuming it is open, does anyone from here go there on weekends?
