Wildlife Survey Results

[Tinhorn]

The MDC has some volunteer bowhunters keep a record (diary if you will) of what animals are seen during bowhunting hours. Each year we are rewarded with a summary of the previous years results. You can see how many deer are seen per 1000 hours in the various counties of the state. (which means if your county has noted 1000 deer then that's one deer per hour)

You sure made my day. I deer hunt in Henry County, that looks to be 3rd highest in deer sightings!

I used to hunt mostly in Iron County then "upgraded" to Dent county!!!!

I've got to carry a pix of a deer to remind me what they look like.

I bought a game cam this year, and I'm really starting to get a lot of pic's.

Not any big bucks yet ~ just a spike. And plenty of buck-magnets!

I took a nice buck out of Dent County a few years back. If I remember correctly, I shot the buck in Dent and he almost crossed the road in to Phelps. He is on my wall

I hunt Johnson County, 1229 deer...wow... guess I need to get to the eye doctor, cuz I taint seen them (yet.)
