I have been thinking about putting up a feeder light, but don't know if it really works. People that make them say they do, but, they are trying to make money off of you. I am wanting people who have tried feeder lights to tell me and everyone else the REAL truth.
Will hogs, deer, whatever be scared of by the light?
What kind of light have you tried?
Have you tried a motion detector light at a feeder?

I would like to hear your story................Thanks,Dufus

As with anything you introduce to the environment they have to get used to it. Stay away from white lights or any "blinding bright" lights. I have some green led lights I built that work pretty well and have been out long enough that hogs and deer don't really mind them but they have to be consistantly coming on and off at the same times every day. Mine come on just before it gets dark enough that you actually need them and goes off after sun rise. That way the animals don't get a suden shock when a light goes on or off.

Good Luck!
