Won bull elk share at cold creek ranch

just found after many many years I was fortunate enough, at .09% odds, to draw a 6x6 or less bull tule elk tag at cold creek ranch (Potter Valley). naturally I’m now researching and would appreciate any experience and insight from others who have hunted there or now about it. i’ve hunted deer, pigs, turkey and bear, but never was lucky enough or rich enough to hunt elk. maybe a guide? thanks

Congratulations!!! That's a long shot. I really don't have any experience or advice. You will need help getting it dressed and hauled out. Hopefully you get to talk to the rancher for advice. Good luck to you

I actually drew (2) tags but had to forfeit one of them. First alternate ended up with an EastPark antlerless tag!
Gotta haul butt to X3A right after the Rosie hunt too!
