Only black so far, we saw 2 different bears hunting, none in camp! Only 1 wolf track seen.

That is the type of hunt that one will always remember and cherish. It makes me want to go back to Wyoming to hunt. Lot's of good memories there.

I would like to offically and publicly thank Eric Johnson. With out him I would have had nothing but sore feet. He really knows elk. I learned more in a week with him than I could have ever imagined. Other tips he gave me while I was training like practice shooting with a mouth diaphram and cow call at full draw then shoot. Priceless. I would have never killed that elk with out that little bit of advise. Another great tip he gave me that came into play. Try and match the bulls call. I had never chuckled and may still not really have ever chuckled but that little wimpy chuckle set him off. He also put me on a training regiment that lost me over 20 lbs before I showed up at his house. That was steep country and I would never survive without his help training for it. So to sum it all up.
