Wyoming area 7 bull

Anyone else putting in for area 7? this will be my second year applying. Was wondering if anyone has drawn area 7 and how many points it took. Good luck!!

Purchasing a point this year for Area 98 ...will have 3 pts going into 2012...I figure I'll go to Wyoming every other year

Sounds like you have a good plan. I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with fish and wildlife this morning, very helpful people. They told me that for area 7 bull there are 22 non-res. tags available. With max points, he said it was 5 this year, I had a 22% chance of drawing. I only have 2 points so I am not going to even try. I will put in for another point and save my $$. He said there was 1560 applicants last year with max points. Good luck!!

wow! Yea, better to just purchase the point this year. This past year I did a general rifle hunt, but used a guide -- really needed the horses they had to get back in to where the elk were.
