Heading to WY in 2015. I have 4 points now and will have 5 after this August. I am trying to find a good outfitter in the $4500 to $6000 range for rifle. I have located the following:

Trophy Mountain Outfitters

Turkey Track Outfitters

Seven J Outfitters

Anyone had good/bad experiences with any of these? Any other recommendations? What about using Cabelas Tags?

I use Thomson Outfitters --- Todd Stevie is a great organization. The pref area is Green River area...I have 4 pts and plan to go back (been there twice with him) in the next couple years. They have their own animals and have great guides. Family run business. http://www.wyohunt.com/ PM me if you want more details

There are tons of outfitters in Wyoming. You need to figure out which zone you would be applying for first. The zones in the bighorn mountains are coming on strong. AdoubleJ outfitters which I think has become Bighorn outfitters; Ive read good things about them. They are in area 45
Never been with them but my dad was looking into Turkey Track for an elk hunt (area 7), hopefully he'll get drawn, then he will seriously start talking to the outfitters.
High Alpine (area 7)
Paint Rock
You could also look up the Wyoming guides association also.
