Is $2500 reasonable price for a self guided hunt on a 14000 private acres for both elk and mule deer.
I did not draw in2006 and i have points to burn in 2007. any advise will be appreciated.

Does the fee include a tag? How many other people will be on that 14000 acres? What's the success rate over the last few years? Is there anything provided, or is that 2500 simply a tresspass fee?

Important questions, and the web is full of places where you can compare similar operations and prices.

$2500 isn't a terrible price for a drop-camp hunt, where the outfitter provides some camp gear and transportation into the hunting area, but if it's simply a fee you pay to enter, then it seems a little pricey to me... unless it includes the tag.
