2004 Big Game Draw Deadline is June 2, 2004.
Apply early for the 2004 Big Game Drawing. Applications must be RECEIVED at the DFG’s License and Revenue Branch in Sacramento by 5:00 p.m., June 2, 2004. Late applications will be rejected and NO preference point earned.
Hunting licenses and associated privileges should be available from a DFG office or authorized license agent in mid-April. A list of license agents throughout
California and in bordering states can be found on the DFG’s web site at http://www.dfg.ca.gov/lrbweb/jsp.
Customers should check DFG’s web site at http://www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/officelocation.html for DFG license sales office locations and hours.
You must buy a nonrefundable 2004/2005 California hunting license before applying for 2004/2005 big game tags.
Proposed Tag Quotas and Seasons
When applying for big game tags please remember that all season dates, tag quotas, boundaries, and other regulations printed in the 2004 Big Game Book are as proposed by the DFG.
Final season dates, tag quotas, boundaries, and other regulations will be adopted at the April 22, 2004, Fish and Game Commission (Commission) meeting and will be available on the Commission’s web site at
http://www.dfg.ca.gov/fg_comm/regs.html after April 26, 2004.
