I got ahold of someone there getting it taken care of the website said remember visitor.center is closed but other site says open all in all I got it taken care of rachel is out on a job interview the past two days is why couldn't get ahold of her

Hello LS Pig Hunters!!!
Yes, you were right I was out of the office for a few days for a job interview. More info on that will come later this week... hopefully it will be good! Wish me luck!! Anyway, I’m glad you were able to get registered in time. I always try to make pig hunters a priority. Any questions just let me know. Email or call. Just remember TRA is correct, the VC is open Thursday - Sunday 9am - 4pm.

I wanted to send out a big “Thank you” to all of the hunters who participated in this year’s pig hunt. The funds collected from the hunts are the sole reason that the visitor center at the park was open for fish hatchery tours for kids this winter. None of your fees went to the government. They were used to pay the PG&E bill, buy toilet paper and some cleaning supplies at the visitor center. You also were able to sponsor some volunteers who now run the visitor center on the weekends. You made this year’s hunt program a success despite the lack of funding at the park. Our budget situation is improving and we hope to have most of the park re-opened by May. Keep watching the forum as I suspect we will be hosting more special deer hunts if WhiteMamba can break away form is day job!

What happens at lake sonoma after march 27? Shotgun and rifle season? Do we register the same as we do for archery season? Thanks

Rangerjoel my friend it's the best feeling in the world knowing that us bowhunters fees were used to support the park and its operations so that visitors and kids could still enjoy an awesome place like lake Sonoma.
I am really going to miss u all and the park and the locals who use the park have always been kind and informational while I have hunted there I will miss them too. I am so gratefully for the opportunity to hunt one of the most scenic lakes and mountain ranges here in nor cal. I am sure by this November when the season starts again at l.s. and I am in Florida it's going to hit me hard not being able to be on the mountain top of Yorty all by my self overlooking gods country away from the rat race. Those are the best moments for me when u feel like u are on top of the world!

Jayson my friend ( WhiteMamba ) u where my biggest inspiration when I first started hunting the lake a few years back and I really thank u for that, I care what anyone says my friend u are a great guy and awesome bowhunter, good luck and future success out in the field.

Rachel (VC girl) i really enjoyed our special relationship as JHO members through the l.s. pig hunting seasons. Thank u for everything my friend! And good luck in your new career adventure.......tra
