36 lb. striper from Silverwood

Ernie Cisneros, Rialto, caught this 36-pound striper on a homemade plug at the Lake Silverwood dam this past Saturday (Mar. 30, 2002).

Looks like the striper fishing may be coming back at the dam at Silverwood. Anybody else spend a night throwing the big wood or fly lining anchovies at the dam for stripers?

I gota say, that is a nice fih. Glad to see the stripers come back. It's been a few years scince i've caught one there...

  WOW, thats a nice fish. Looks like I need to spend a night out at silverwood. Hey maybe this summer we should do a stripper campout at silverwood.

Evan, That would be a good idea. A JHP fishing camp out. Just hang out and shoot the brreeeeezzzzz and drink some beers.....

Wow I caught a couple more LM bass on monday but nothing like that hog. I guess Im gonna have to change bait.
Summer Campout sounds good to me, I could bring my boat.
