is a 7mm08 good for pronghorn i will be useing 130 or 140 grainers

Yes, and if you reload try the Speer Hot-Cor 130gr. Very accurate in my 7-08 and holds up well too. I've also used the Sierra 140gr Gameking. It's just as accurate but not as fast. Both will do the job on pronghorn.

Sure it is, if you do your part. Put either bullet in the right place and you will have a dead antelope.

Yes------I would site in about 2" high @100 yards. Rough rule of thumb is you'll be about 8" low @ 300 yards. Good optics both bicno's & spotting scope are more important IMO. Don't shoot the 1st one you see-----have a ball antelope hunting is just plain fun !! CB
