A one in a Million Photo!

Here is a photo I took of two fawn antelope bedded in the middle of the hyway.
Have any of you ever seen a pictue or herd of any game animals bedding on a hyway.
After I took the picure I spooked them off of the hyway. They were actualy kind of sleeping there and the mom wasn`t far off.

Thats pretty cool......around here I see lots of young Dove's sitting on the blacktop in the early morning. I guess its a good source of heat.

Great picture,never seen a LOPE bed on a Road,paved or not.Has to be the Warmth or ODOR of the "NEW" asphalt ???

That is pretty cool. I've seen several fawns bedded on lonely dirt roads, but never on a highway.

The only animal I've seen lay in the road was whitetail deer back in Missouri near Swan Lake NWR. There are so many deer there that at night it looks like a migration when they come out. One time a buddy and I were taking a deer into the check station and we had to weave our way down the highway around the bedded deer since they wouldn't move. They were on the highway, on the shoulder grazing and running all around the fields nearby.

The farmer's daughter where we hunted near there had wrecked 3 of his trucks from hitting deer on the road by the time she was 18. He wouldn't let her drive his truck anymore and she had to buy her own car.
