Abu Garcia Is A Major Sponsor Of The California Fishing Passport Fishing Challenge

The Department of Fish and Game wants more people to get out and fish this fall, so they are offering the California Fishing Passport Fall Challenge and awarding some great fishing prizes, valued between $100-$500, to those who do!
This Fishing Challenge is new, free, and open to both saltwater and freshwater anglers.
Basically, you have until Dec. 31st to catch any 5 different saltwater species, or any 5 different lake species, or any 3 trout species. Complete any one or all three of these fishing contests or "slams" and be eligible to win some fantastic prizes!
Entering is simple! Just take digital, full-color photos of each of your different fish and then go to their Web site at www.fishingpassport.org. Click "TripTracks Fishing Logbook" and submit your photos along with your fishing data, and you're entered! (All eligible species are listed in the California Fishing Passport book available from any DFG office or online at www.fishingpassport.org.)
Awards/Prizes:
• 60 successful anglers (20 per slam) will receive either Berkley/Abu Garcia fishing tackle packages or Bass Pro Shops Gift Cards (each valued at $100). Complete all three Challenges, and prize packages valued at $250-$500 will be awarded to 10 qualifiers.
