Angeles National Forest Deer Hunting

I am a journalist working on a story about the impact of the recent So Cal fires on local hunting for The California Report on KQED based in San Francisco, broadcasting all over the state. I would like to tag along with an experienced hunter in the Angeles National Forest and record for radio broadcast how this season has been or will be different from years past. Ideally, I would like to talk with someone who is capable of speaking with authority about the fire cycle and how it effects ecology and hunting, and ideally someone who has hunted in this same area for many seasons.
