Az elk and antelope results

My daughters Unit 9 Bull tag is Nov. 28th to Dec. 4th.

For those of you that have hunted that unit is there a good chance to find quality bulls that time of year ?

I am hearing that all of the antler tips will be broken off.

I am going up to look for drops in the area tomorrow.

I am guessing most of the bull elk will be in the lower parts of the unit in late November ?

Jim, you are correct! From what we have seen over the years, the bull to cow rat is very high. Starting with the archery season, the bulls are already starting to break up. You will be lucky to find a good bull that is not broken. Nothing wrong with an old broken up bull, I like the character!
