What type of fishing do you like? And it sounds like you have hit most of the local spots. Trout stocking will start next week with all the local lakes and river. The problem we have right now is the lakes are not even close to full capacity. This is true for the lakes farther away. Such as Lake Success and Bass lake. We also have the aquaduct with some good size strippers and catfish. There is a trout derby coming up at Buena Vista. Its not very big with the prize fish at $1000.00, but can be fun.

I prefer creeks, streams and rivers.....Kern River is good.

If you prefer lakes and wanna drive a little south there is Pyramid, Castaic and Piru within two or three hours....
