If you read Sunday Outdoors in The Chronicle or get my Tweets, then you already know all about this. But you might not have seen it with your own eyes. Chronicle field scout and contributing outdoors photographer Eric Dugan captured the triple conjunction of Jupiter, Venus and Mercury###on Sunday (and Monday) evenings, as well as the rising full moon over the weekend (which was previewed in last Monday’s column in The Chronicle). As predicted by astronomers, just after dusk, to the west, the three planets appeared in a triangle and were visible for about an hour.
