i kniw the party of people in this story and i have a story about d14 banning bench being policed by banning police and forcing us to leave national forest some how they got us forestry to allow banning pd to sign it over to them i hope that guy who was mauled has a speedy recovery and that he will not loose his eye,but hope that this brings some attention to this area that banning police has been running us out of this area witch is national forest and that they change law on no side arm during archery hunting if his partner didnt have a handgun he would have been mauled to death

Didn't read anything about a hand gun, and as far as I know the is still the Law No fire arms while Archery Hunting.
I hope all goes well with the Hunters healing and recovery, but it should also send out a measage that bears can and will mess you up.
It is most important to be very acurate with your bow if Bear hunting, and I guess we will see if they Charge the partner for having a fire arm in position while bear hunting. It will be interesting to see how this washes out in the weeks to come.

he finished bear off with a pistol while it was attacking his partner i dont want to put any names out there byt he saved his buddys life and fish and game is investigating weather they will charge him with anything

Hope he recovers well. Must of been a nightmare to be in that situation, I am glad his hunting partners did not freeze and helped out. I know how it feels to be in a situation that a life can be lost in a few seconds.
