Big Bear Lake CA

Anybody ever trout fish Big bear Lake? I have yet to have much luck there. Usually here of good reports from up there.

I went they a few ago. My and a Friend got 7 trout. We got them all off of power bait. I have always had luck with trout up there. It is better in the summer time when they have the dock out by the boat ramps. Because you can fish all night on them.

It's been a few years, but I used to fish that lake from spring through summer with a boat. A flourescent orange needlefish behind a few colors of lead core line and we'd usually have limits in about 3 hours. Now, the trolling pattern.... I'm sworn to secrecy on that.
