I didn\'t say it wasn\'t \"canned\", I just said I know the difference and I didn\'t see anything wrong with hunting a wild pig there (especially if they are \"Razorback\" or wild). I haven\'t been there yet so I really can\'t comment on the fair chase aspect but it\'s close to home and I need to kill a boar. Soon! Lol\\\"know the difference between hunting hard and a canned hunt\\\"
I have no issues with anyone hunting on this ranch, but Fowlshooter please
explain to me what part of this hunting operation isn\'t canned?[/b]
we came across this porker, put a sneak on him and he center punched him at about 40 yds with my mini 14. 200 lbs or so of nice tasty pig and some GREAT memories. IMHO it just doesn't get any better than that. Dennis[/b]
Agreed...that is an awesome thing to do for your cousin. It's too bad too many people here have interjected their opinions (many without reading your entire post).
If you wanted to rain on his parade or state your opinion about the type of operation...start different thread. This one wasn't started to hear your opinion of the operation. It was to tell a good story about doing the right thing.
Congrats again to you and your cousin![/b]
