Can anyone tell me how and where to find the bass ponds just south of Bishop? I was told they were between Big Pine and Bishop. We searched for an hour or so but couldn't find them.

E mail me. I live there, but won't be back home until late Sunday.... To get to Buckley ponds, go out East line St. Just before the river turn right on the big dirt road and stay right on any forks. You will go about 3 miles and come to the 2nd of 4 ponds. Just stay on the West side of the ponds and you will pass 2 more and end up on Warm Springs rd. south of Bishop To get to Saunders Pond, just cross warm springs rd and continue following the dirt rd about 3 mi. and then it gets a little complicated.
