Blake Jones Trout Derby

Sonia and I are going to the Blake Jones Trout Derby March 16 at Pleasant Valley Reservoir. Anyone else attending?

karstic how many float tubers do they allow during the derby or not?

Thonz:  This is open to anyone.  You can fish Pleasant Valley with your float tube and there are no limits of the amount of fishermen.  Just stay out of casting distance from the shore.  Especially away from loud groups of guys that have been drinking since 6am. Tubers could become targets.....Or you can fish the miles and miles of open water above and below the res.  Just stay on the river.  Canals and streams north of Big Pine are still closed 'til the end of April....hronk
