1st Alternate for Likely Tables Period 2 Gerneral Buck

How is it that there can be 50 tags and I'm 51......that just aint right.
Has anyone been in this position before.......what are my chances that a tag wont be purchased??

One Track, I drew Likley Tables archery in 99 (the buck in my avitar). I have the complete skinny for you. I spent a week scouting. My bro in law, who also drew and got his buck, owns a plane. We video taped the zone, from the air and ground. Keep in touch. Congrats.

I'll make the drive to SD and hand off the info (in exchange for a beer at Hooters!). Also have the skinny on A-20. I'll trade that for an albacore trip. Ed F

JRK: Hang in there. The top 50 must send in their tag money by July 11th. I'm sure at least one guy will wash out. I think you might have a great chance at getting a tag.

I put in for rifle. My AZ archery lope hunt, last year, kicked my butt. Now, I wishin' it was a bow tag. Would love to figure out how to beat 50 other guys to the whopper goat buck.

We'll be scouting up in A20 next week, for four days.

Ed, I know just the boat to take you fishing if you don't mind a center console. I practically grew up in A20 (my family has a home and some land there) and know it real well but I'd love to compare notes. Over the next couple weekends me and ol' One Track are gonna find em. Come on down to SD and the three of us will hit it up. Tuna if they are in range, and if not, it's mako shark time.

Well I sent off my number 1 alternate sheet and money yesterday for 2nd period Likely Tables...........now I just have to wait 2 more weeks and hope someone doesnt purchase a tag.

Congrats on the sort of draw. Man, that just fries me! My buddy was in your shoes last year and I don't see why they let us put in as a group if there going to split you at the end. I can't believe that the quota can't be increased by 1 more such as in your case, that way you and your partner won't get split up. By the way, he didn't get to go since everybody paid there money. Hopefully you'll have better luck!!

Hey i put in for that area how long did it take you to get drawn for that area and if you get split like that and dont get a tag does the other person in the party get to keep his preferince points.Thanks.
